A Louisiana girl met a Pennsylvania boy in 2004 at a PRIDE Conference in St. Louis.
They saw each other again in 2005 and 2006. Reunited one more time in Erie, PA for a leadership camp in 2007.
We went our separate ways to attended college in Baton Rouge and Rochester.
We didn't talk to each other for 4 years through college. *Fun fact: Both college mascots are Tigers! (Geaux Tigers!)
In 2011, Alex moved to San Francisco. Laura came to visit San Francisco.
Not to visit him, silly! Laura came to SF to visit her cousin and to scope out a potential new city to call home. Technically, our "first date" was at a cafe called La Boulange in Hayes Valley.
Laura moves to San Francisco 3 months later.
